The Way up

There is only one way to walk up to the Porto Katsiki area. It is the path the goat herders of Melanthios (son of Dolios) walked with their flocks. The old men originating from Pondi , where the path starts its way up, told me that it has been a path used by the goat herders since long, long times. In the second half of the last century the path has been widened to suite cars, but only a view years ago the road has been widened again and has been paved.
